This was the Holocaust Survivor I met today. :)
Alex Moskovic. Sweetest man I have ever met.
Towards the end of his speech, we were allowed to ask him questions with my teacher coming up to us with the microphone. He had the cutest little accent.
I asked him; “Had anyone ever encouraged you to survive in the Concentration Camp?”
He replied with; “No. I did not. But, you’re always going to have friends. They lift you up when you’re down. They’ll be there for you and do things for you.”
He said some other things, but due to the shit ass microphone he was using, I couldn’t hear him.
